Julio y Agosto were formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2006. Originally a trio, the line-up has expanded to seven permament members as well as occasional guest musicians. The current line-up is Santiago Adano (guitar, vocals and ukulele), Michael Canevari (guitar and vocals), Marcelo Canevari (bass), John Buonuome (Peruvian cajón), Luciana Cuneo (violin), Guido Gromadzyn (violin), and Leandro Aspis (trombone and vocals). They released their first album, Julio&Agosto, in 2011, and their second album El ritmo de las cosas, in 2013.
