Juliet’s Rescue have recently released their debut eponymous self titled EP which was recorded in Manor Park Studios, Antrim with acclaimed producer/studio engineer Neal Calderwood. The group “crackle and fizz with promise on their debut release” with songs described as “anthemic… like Foals but with better hooks” (Edwin McFee, Hot Press 2010). Their debut EP combines “the pop nous of The Killers with the infectious energy of the young Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys” (David Roy, The Irish News 2010). The group hold a large fan base and have performed at festivals and in venues around the country, including Oxegen (Hot Press New Band Stage, 2009) and Sea Sessions Bundoran (2010). They get a sizable amount of airplay on radio stations such as 2FM, Phantom, RnaG, BBC Radio 1, Radio Ulster, and Today FM and have recently made an appearance and performed on ‘The Tommy and Hector Show’, 2FM where Hector hailed them as “one of the happening bands in the country without a shadow of a doubt.” User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
