Julie McAllan is a multi-award winner, internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter who was born in country South-East Queensland, Australia. Julie has performed to audiences throughout Australia such as AGMF in Toowoomba, Tamworth Country Music Festival and in Missouri and Arkansas in the United States. Julie’s great love for the Australian outback and its music was ignited over the last ten years as she lived and worked amongst the people of the Northern Territory, including Aboriginal communities, from Alice Springs to Darwin. Her music captures the heart of the outback, the courage of its people and beauty of its landscape entwining them together under the Great Creator, as heard in her best seller, "Living in the Alice". Julie’s artistic talent shows through the variety of music she writes from beautiful slow ballads that connect with the heart of the audience, to catchy upbeat choruses that have audiences clapping and singing along. Julie is passionate about rural communities wanting to impart a sense of identity and hope into the people through her music. She released an EP called “Glory Falling” in 2000 and two albums, “Great I Am” in 2002 and her latest, “Bring Me Home” in 2005.
