The last FM artist that you have been directed to hear is not the person written about below. Julie Collins born in England trained in Theatre studies , drama, all aspects of the Entertainments industry. After many auditions through the 80s and 90s Julie attained a recorded deal in usa for 10 years. Her producer was Wesley Magoogan, of the “English beat” he produced all of her singles, one of which “Sure” was due to be the Special Olympics theme tune for 2004. Also released was a cover of “The Beatles” “something” a wonderful song written by the late great, Sir George Harrison. Sadly Julie’s mother passed away from cancer 2003 as did the CEO of the record company Julie was signed to. After a few years break and lots of Acting on stage and screen, Julie emigrated to New Zealand with her bass player husband and is still writing and performing.
