Pop singer, born as Edith Erdman in Brooklyn 1954. She released an album in 1968 that included the track "All's Quiet on West 23rd," penned by Resnick and Levine, and based on the real-life Kitty Genovese case. In both appearance and style she is sometimes compared to Barbra Streisand. She continued performing and occasionally recording into the 2010s.
