Julian Ovenden is an English television and film actor and singer best known for his part in the television series Foyle's War. He also starred in The Forsyte Saga, The Royal, Related and Cashmere Mafia. His theatre career includes Grand Hotel, Butley, Marguerite and Annie Get Your Gun. In 2004 he starred in "A Christmas Carol, TV musical" with Kelsey Grammer, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ruthie Henshall amongst others. In 2010, Ovenden began work on Workshops for the musical adaptation of Helen Fielding's Bridget Jones's Diary, playing the role of womanizer Daniel Cleaver.
