Julian is a brilliant song-writer (mainly track) and record producer specializing in pop and rock. He co-wrote and co-produced ‘Motion in the Ocean’, the #1 album by McFly which spawned three UK #1 singles including the ever popular ‘Starlgirl'. He also wrote and produced ‘Don’t Let it go to Waste’, the debut album by Matt Willis which featured the magnificent "Hey Kid". In 2018 Julian Emery presents a celebration of synthwave pop, with moods ranging from hard-hitting and energetic to emotive and anthemic. Pulsing bass, retro synths, distorted guitar and punchy drums combine with soulful female vocals.
