Julia Joia (pronounced Joo-lia Joh-ia) is the artistic name of Julia Joia da Paixão (born 30 November 2000 in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil), a pop singer and songwriter. Julia grew up in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. She studied at the music school Starling Academy of Music. Julia released her debut solo single "A Letter to Helena" in the spring of 2018. A few months before, she collaborated with “Flak”, the Chilean DJ, and the song “Broken Words” was issued in October 2018 on his YouTube channel and through iTunes.
