Jules Rendell is a soulful young artist with vocals reminiscent to those of Minnie Ripperton and a poetic, soulful way with words. A genuine musical talent, multi-instrumentalist Jules plays piano and cello and has written and arranged all of the tracks on The Lotus Bloom EP. Jules studied vocals at the Royal Northern College of Music before embarking on her musical career. As a singer she’s already racked up an impressive list of credits, singing with Gorillaz at Manchester Opera House as part of the Manchester International Festival and backing artists such as: Keane, Beverley Knight, Aled Jones to name just a few, she’s even lended her vocals to a Nicole Scherzinger single. Jules is a pro live, having already graced the stage at venues such as O2 Islington, XOYO, Manchester Academy, The Secret Garden Party, and jazz venues such as Boisdale, The Pheasantry and Matt and Fred’s in Manchester. With upcoming dates at Ronnie Scotts and an EP launch on Thursday 30th January at London’s Hippodrome Casino. Birmingham-born Rendell has now made her home in London, where she’s been keeping some very good company indeed.
