Three piece rock band Judas Johnson reside in sleepy Minsterley, Nr Shrewsbury, Shropshire. JJ 1995 started life as a six piece band and quickly made a name for themselves around the Midlands and gigged extensively in the area. The reformation of 'The Judes' in January 2007 saw bassist Chris Boon, drummer Mark Evans and singer/guitarist Mark Johnson come together to develop a tighter, darker sound. The band's first outing saw them play 'Stiperstock' in the summer of 07 and launched them onto the local scene. The release of their demo 'Minsterley' drew them airplay on Radio Shropshire's 'Friday Night Gerbil' and saw them play a live session on the show.
