Jubël is an electronic pop duo hailing from Halmstad, Sweden, consisting of Sebastian Atas and Victor Sjöström. They are currently signed to Warner Music. They began their musical careers separately before coming together as a duo. Starting in 2013, they collaborated under the name Galavant, writing, producing, and releasing music. In 2017, they unveiled their new sound and performed as Jubël, derived from the Swedish word "jubel," meaning "cheering." One of their earliest singles "Illusion" gained attention when it became part of a global campaign the retailer and fashion line H&M. But their breakthrough came in 2018 with their cover of "Dancing in the Moonlight,". The song was originally recorded in 1970 by Boffalongo, led by Kelly Sherman, and popularized by King Harvest. Jubël's version, featuring vocals by Neimy, initially charted in Sweden, Norway, and Belgium. However, a re-release in 2020 propelled the song to greater international success, charting on the UK Singles Chart and peaking at number 11. The track gained further exposure when it was featured in the sixth series of the reality show Love Island in 2020. While experimenting in the studio with the melody of Toploader's 2000 version, itself a cover of the 1972 original by King Harvest, Jubël sensed its potential and enlisted the help of their friend Neimy for vocals. Despite spending several years shelved, the song garnered attention when an English guy, having heard one of Jubël's other songs, contacted them
