Jozef Kapustka was born in Poland in 1969 and began his musical studies at the age of 3. Meeting Sviatoslav Richter shortly thereafter has set his vocation eversince.Upon graduating from New York Juilliard School in 1992 he has completed a Postgraduate Advanced Studies diploma at the Royal Academy of Music in London having worked subsequently with Dmitri Baskirov in Madrid and legendary Vera Gornostaeva in Moscow, eventually settled down to live in Paris. Very early Kapustka started to appear in most of New York's world class premises such as Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Museum, United Nations, jointly with Tamami Honma, Japan at the Carnegie Hall ("magical,amazing experience" as seen in "The New York Times") and has been featured on Voice of America International and New York classical radio WQXR live radio broadcasts, hailed as "one of the most interesting radio programmings on the air" by opinionated New York Village Voice. Furthermore he has been featured on France Musique and Europe1 broadcasts. Subsequently his concert career has taken him to Italy with Sicily, Greece and Creta, Malte, Spain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Ukraine, Germany ("a great introverted pianist"-Nurnberger Zeitung), Switzerland, France ("a particularly beautiful concert"-Radio France International), French Polynesia withTahiti, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Lithuania, Russia, Turkey, Lybia, Egypte, Jordania, Bresil and USA with Hawaii.
