Joshumbrella begin from a music show on an American Highschool in 2006. With acoustic guitar that he depend on, he also already arrange some tour on Japan. Influenced by Elliot Smith to Kotaro Oshio, now Joshumbrella serve some vocal and guitar picking combination on a self-titled EP released by inmyroom records. Having been gigging around in almost half part of the globe is his ultimate reward of toiling every night in his obscurity for years. born and bred in Jakarta, Indonesia; he croons his lungs out of what it is considered as a progressive folk music that signifies the oddity of the time signature and it’s ever-changing progression of mood, chords and tempo. merging all of his influences from Colin Meloy to Kotaro Oshio with the top is dashed with Elliott Smith’s finger picking. he is a singer-songwriter who always try to feed his hunger of sharing his music to people. from American high-school talent show to Japanese live act club with a superior backstage until Malaysian cigarette-smoke-filled live space, he’s been there and spread his tune. Now even stronger than before Joshumbrella appoint his sidekicks that’s ready for an all-night set consisting of Deo (Drums), Xava(Bass), and Krisnu(Guitar) all bringing their own credibility to the van and they’re all up to deliver a one of a kind tune to your zip code!
