Joshua Yadav is an aspiring 19-year-old singer-songwriter from India, and currently has one released song. Born on 10 September 2006 in Pune, India, Joshua began performing as a singer at around 7 years old, securing 1st place at his school's singing competition. In May 2025, he moved to Australia for further education, with hopes to permanently reside in the country. He is inspired by several pop, rock, and Christian gospel singers, including his father, and cites a Christian musician named Don Moen as the inspiration for the music in his debut single 'My Guiding Light'. Joshua was born to a family of singers and musicians. Therefore, it was no surprise when he claimed that music is his passion. When asked about what motivates him to perform, he credits both his family and his faith. Joshua plans to collaborate with other musicians in the foreseeable future, but currently has no desire to perform in any gigs as he claims that money and popularity are not his priorities; instead, he prioritises his passion for music as well as strengthening people's faith through music by helping them realise the power of faith and effort. He also plans on releasing songs of different genres, as well as songs featuring lyrics from his own native language (Marathi) and Indian classical music.
