Josh was born in lakeland, florida. at a young age he began to be active in local music ministries leading to several opportunities to travel and perform as far as Minneapolis at age sixteen. at that time he began to write his own material and released a few recordings made on a old macbook to some friends who "loved him enough to listen." as he continued to write, he became more and more discontent with his older material. Josh released an ep, "Home Grown EP," right at his 18th birthday. since then, his life has taken unexpected turns, all of which have affected his writing. "i have matured a lot and so has my music, Josh says." He recently released a full length titled, "Patience," consisting of songs concerning the strengthening of endearment as he was apart from his significant other (who is pictured with Josh on the album cover). Both records are available in most online stores. As of late Josh has taken a fast from listening to music in hopes of writing material that is somewhat organic and rich for his next record scheduled to be recorded in mid July. "I don't know what it is... I listen to my previous records and think wow I am better than that. I have never really constructed a instrumentally strong recording... my mind isn't simplistic I just don't have the means... but I believe I will soon. I am no longer afraid of sharing the songs I write and play only to myself, I guess I want to rid some of the fake aspects of my music with this next project." influenc
