Currently residing in Dickson, TN, Williams was a child prodigy, beginning as a banjo player at age 8. He gained national recognition in the US when he appeared on the 1993 IBMA Awards show in the “Bluegrass Youth All-Stars” band with Chris Thile, Cody Kilby and Michael Cleveland.He plays all the bluegrass instruments. In 2008, 2009, and 2010, he won the IBMA award for Guitar Player of the Year. 2) Josh Williams was an American artist active in the 2000s. In 2004, he released "Dusty Porch".
