So this is where you would normally find a fancy bio full of accolades and accomplishments, “humbly” informing you of how awesome I am and who I’ve “shared the stage with”, etc. Well, I think... yeah, I think I’m done with that. I’d rather just tell you that I’m a sinner saved by God’s grace. I’m no better than you and I fail miserably every day. I struggle with a lot of the same things you probably struggle with. And everyday is a constant battle to know and trust that Jesus is better than all of those things. I’d rather just tell you that I’m incredibly blessed to have an amazing, beautiful, Christ-following wife, and two wonderful little girls that steal my heart away every day. And I’m thankful for family and friends that I love and can trust. I’d rather tell you that I’m trying to be faithful in the little things... faithful to where God has me now. I’m privileged to serve as a worship leader at Capstone Church in Tuscaloosa, AL. I love my church and the community that Amy and I experience there. And I’m thankful for the opportunities I get to travel and play music. I’d rather just tell you that I’m a washed-up athlete and music minister’s kid who grew up in church but didn’t understand what it means to be a Christ follower until much later in life. I like guitars, golf, basketball, Mexican food and P.F. Changs. I try to write honest, challenging songs that contain sound theology.
