Josh Doyle is a British-American songwriter and musician who was the lead singer and guitarist for British pop-punk band The Dum Dums. The band was signed to the same management as Busted were, in fact, Busted were designed along the lines set down by The Dum Dums. He disappeared after breaking up "The Dum Dums" in 2001 after one album during which the band were demoing a second album. Josh has stated the split was due to the record company/management wanting a progressively more poppier sound for their second album which was taking on a more rock edge. Josh resurfaced in Nashville, Tennessee in 2004 with a new "folktronica" sound on the independent The End of Fear EP. May 2009 saw Josh release a inbetween album E.P. titled Values and Virtues. For people that donated to help fund the recording of the new E.P. a bonus 8 tracks were also available for download to create a sort of 14 track extended mini-album.
