Born In Hastings Nebraska 1957 Joseph Alan Fears was taught To Play the Guitar By Age 4 By A Family Friend, In 1968 Moved To salina,kansas And Joined 3 Other Young Gifted Musicians Mythias Lee Saterfield(guitar/Vocals) & Albert Whitaker(drums/Vocals), Mike Jackson(organ)& Started A Group Called" KOOL-SAT AND THE SECOND BREEZE" Band.(later Known As The Wynd band) Then -"Tamerac" Joseph Became The Bass Guitarist & VocalistThey Performed There Own Written R&B Styled Original Songs (Mississippi Groove",-How Does It Feel",-Act Like A Freak",-I Need Your Love"-"Sentuos Feeling",-Don't Take It Away",-"Late At Nite In Georgia",-Dont Play With My Emotions",-Pains Of A Broken Heart",- Wide Open" I Want To Jam With You"- Get Loose"- & Classic Southern Soul(Cover Songs) From 1969-1974 Touring From Kansas To Mississippi Playing The "Juke Joints" And Hole In The Wall" Nightclubs.
