Artist
Joris Verdin is an organist and musicologist, a particularly renowned specialist in the 19th century repertoire for the harmonium, giving masterclasses and lectures on this subject at the Göteborg Organ Academy, as well as many other institutions throughout France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Dr. Verdin currently teaches organ at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp and music theory at the Catholic University of Leuven. His discography includes numerous works ranging from the music of the 16th century to the 20th century. He has gained special recognition for his recording of César Franck’s complete organ works.
