A child of the ’90s, Jordan Lee was raised on Spike Lee’s films and their undeniable groovy soundtracks. From this cinematic memory and his father, a bassist, he inherited a strong sense of rhythm and a rich blend of influences: James Brown, George Benson, Michael Jackson, Al Jarreau, Prince, Roy Ayers, and Quincy Jones. He draws inspiration from the latter three—though the first remain in his heart—to fully embrace his desire to do it all himself. Jordan is a composer, songwriter, performer, producer, and mixer, aiming to connect with the very essence of what he seeks to create—this star that is becoming more and more within reach. His process is practiced and clear: settle in the studio, create a sound, then bring it to life on stage.
