Jonny Taylor is a singer/songwriter from Bunbury, Western Australia. As a boy he'd always dreamed of rock stardom and he is well on his way to achieving that dream. A classically trained guitarist form the age of thirteen, Jonny always had a strong connection to the darker side of music and life. He was raised on a diet of grunge and rock music and delved into prog rock/metal during his later teen years. At 17 he found a voice and an undying desire to express his thoughts and private poetry through music. Jonny has been in and out of rock, metal, acoustic and progressive bands as a guitarist and vocalist - but never lost sight of the beautiful bond between voice and acoustic guitar. This is where it all comes together ..... His love of 90's grunge and alternative rock shimmers through the acoustic based sound that has evolved over time. After earning a position in the final 12 of Australian Idol 2008, Jonny quickly learned what he loves and despises about music and life. The result is a focused and driven musician with a vision to share his music with the world. His new EP is titled Skin & Bones.
