Artist
Jonathan Tal Evron (born 25 October, 1984) is an Israeli-American singer-songwriter who performs under the moniker Coin Operated Moron. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, he began playing the guitar at age of 15 and began to write music at the age of 21. He grew up in New York and attended Lawrence High School, graduating in 2003. Following this, he went on to attend Boston University, studying Philosophy and Religion though, truly learning life through a myriad of experiences. After graduating in 2007, he returned home to New York to figure out his next walk in life; he began to record his debut EP but, unfortunately, was uninspired. In late 2008, he returned to Israel, specifically living in Jerusalem and on a Kibbutz. While living in Israel, he continued to record, mix, engineer, and master his debut EP. In 2009, he self-released his debut EP entitled "Coin Operated Moron: A Jonathan Tal Evron Demonstration." He has since returned to New York. Free tracks can be downloaded at his official website, http://www.evronmusic.com User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
