1) Jonathan - Forest Hill Church - South Park (Campus Pastor) 2) Jonathan - Musician After studying piano and organ at Chetham's School of Music Jonathan gained a scholarship on both instruments to attend the Royal Northern College of music (RNCM) and graduated with two performance diplomas in piano and organ and the Dayas Gold medal. With the aid a Countess of Munster Scholarship he was able to continue his studies at Eastman School of Music, New York State and at the Amsterdam Conservatory, Holland. Jonathan is currently a member of the keyboard staff at the RNCM and Organist-in-residence at The University of Salford where he gives a series of lunchtime organ recitals. A prizewinner at many International competitions including St Albans Organ Competition, Musica Brittanica Early music Competition and RCO Performer of the Year Competition, Jonathan also won the coveted Worshipful Company of Musicians WT Best Scholarship and gold medal. Jonathan has performed at all the major concert halls in the UK, as well as venues throughout Europe, South America and the Far East. This season sees the release of two new solo CDs as well as solo appearances with BBC Philharmonic, RPO, RLPO, CBSO and Hallé orchestras. His recent performances of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue to capacity audiences at the Royal Albert Hall, London were described as "scintillating" by The Sunday Times and the Hallé orchestra have named Jonathan as one of their 2010 TEN2WATCH young artists.
