Jonas Stenberg

Trance producer from Uppsala, Sweden. Jonas Stenberg started out with music at an early age, with drum lessons as a 7-year old and picking up the clarinet at the age of 9. After years of playing in orchestras and groups he developed an interest for various kinds of music. Inspired by UK, german and dutch dance hits he discovered EDM in the late 90’s and started experimenting with his own sounds. The first release came in 2003, with two tracks featured on Swedish trance compilations. Following this Jonas started to develop his sound and taking it in a new direction, also working on movie score projects and blending different styles of EDM. After several years of shaping the sound, Marcel Woods discovered Jonas and made him a member of the Musical Madness crew. Now his sound has evolved into a blend of house, electro, techno and trance, where dark energy, powerful synthpatterns and percussive drive form three essential track elements. Currently, Jonas works at a lab in the weekdays performing cell-based cancer research while evenings and weekends are devoted to music.
