A lot can happen in 12 months, for Jon O’Bir, 2002 started off with him mixing in his bedroom like thousands of others dreaming of the big time, but as the hours counted down to 2003 his dream came true and he was warming up the crowd at U.K. super club, Godskitchen. It all started back in September 2002, when he entered a DJ competition for Passion and M8 magazine along with 300 other hopeful DJ’s. He won. He was then offered the chance to play for Motion in Derby and also to show off his talents on the Internet radio station, BPM. With his style of progressive/uplifting trance and expertly blended mixes, Godskitchen soon noticed his potential. They were looking for a new young DJ to offer a residency to and the prospect of a fledging career as Britain's next DJ sensation. "It is unbelievable!
