Johnny Logan is an artist with a fresh take on the traditional sounds of Southern Rock and 90’s Country. Hailing from the Indianapolis area, Johnny Logan’s trajectory started along the normal path as a member of an honors choir and music aficionado. In the subsequent years, Johhny Logan has been honing his craft and playing regionally in the Midwest. Johnny’s unmistakable talent and quiet demeanor instantly draw fans from all walks of life. Johnny has a vast array of life experiences to draw from for his introspective and often deeply personal lyrics. While his vocals are powerful enough to front a large rock band, do not overlook the opportunity to listen to an acoustic set. There is an almost palpable richness and strength in his vocals that come alive while he is alone on stage with his guitar, so much so that he has been compared to Keith Whitley. To date Johnny Logan and the Roughnecks have opened for Bill Taylor and the Appalachian Heathens, Hannah Dasher, Sarah Gayle Meech, George Ducas and Cam Pierce and have played festivals including the inaugural Pickin’ in the Backwoods.
