Johnny DeMarco is a songwriter/performer who understands the value of a well crafted song. Be it a ballad...soundtrack or a rocker, Johnny's powerful, melodic and anthem oriented radio-ready songs are jam packed with attitude, honesty and integrity. His intent on creating a catalogue of timeless musical works that address themes of love-loss-hope and moving on are evident, and reach out to people from all walks of life. Recently Johnny's song "I'm Gonna Find My Way" found it's way on the Odd Squad's compilation fundraising CD for street youth, with the likes of Bruce Springsteen as well as a list of many other respected artists. Johnny's music resonates with the public in many different markets. With success on radio in the USA, Canada and Europe, the single "I'm on Fire" from the CD "If These Walls Could Talk" also landed international success on the USA television show Higher Ground. Delivered with emotion, passion and intensity, much thought is given to the importance of the lyrical content and it's message. Although the songs have a certain urgency about the subject matter, making the connection with the listener/audience is of most importance.
