John's Dead is a four piece alternative/indie/post punk/rock band from germany. Marc and Marc formed this band together with brothers Jochen and Joerg in the attempt to create their own music. Music that is heavily influenced by post punk, indie and britpop artists like Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys. Music that scratches the pop surface but at the very same moment stays clear of any pop cliches. Giving away free CDs at their concerts, making their music available on the official homepage or of course here on last.fm, the currently unsigned John's Dead makes a habit of giving their music away for free.
