John is the man behind tribal/fetish industrial outfit Sleepchamber, and the sexy SS Fetish ambient project Women of the SS. Although he has released countless CDs and LPs and tapes, both as Sleepchamber and W of the SS, long out of print or re-issued, he remains an extremely underrated and relatively unknown artist in the so called "industrial" community. But he has a cult following, where if someone loves his stuff, he/she will seek out all he/she can by this artist. He is also one of the first people who worked with M. Moynahan from Blood Axis, then as a teen kid known as "Coup de grace", on Sleepchamber's seminal "Submit to Desire" LP. JOHN ZEWIZZ started recording music in 1979 as "GREEN SEX"-(a 7' 33rpm vinyl single). The following year he experimented with his first 'Industrial music' with ZE WIZZ KIDZ-( a c-60) of early drum machine & synth music. His first real concept was SLEEP CHAMBER in Oct.31,1982. (a 7' 33rpm vinyl 3-song EP). Up to date he has released over 50 cassettes,12 Vinyl LP's-(not counting bootlegs), 8 vinyl singles, 3 vinyl 12' singles, 15 VHS tapes, 30 CD's-(not counting bootlegs ),and 6 full length DVDs by SLEEPCHAMBER. Although not as prolific but close is his 'other' music concepts : WOMEN OF THE SS, HIDIOUS IN STRENGTH, DAZE OF TRANCE and smaller projects created by him: DOKUMENT, CULT OV THE WOMB, NOIZECLOT, THE MAHCANIK, and has worked on releases by SEVEN FROM LIFE, JONATHAN BRILEY-(solo music), GRAY GHOST, ARCHANGELS OV SEX, and THE GOVERNM
