John T. Gast has released a number of underground CDR releases in the past, but the 2015 album Excerpts on Planet Mu is his first album released to a wider audience. He is known for appearing on Hype Williams' "Black is Beautiful" album for Hyperdub and Dean Blunt's "The Redeemer" album under the alias S.Bronze. His live show has opened on UK dates for Blunt as Gast and in 2013 collaborated on an EP with Inga Copeland. He's also worked under the alias Henny Moan.
