John O'Brien-Docker (born 25 December 1938 in London, UK; died 3 August 2017 n Hamburg, Germany) was a British-German musician, songwriter, arranger and band leader (and father of Ian O'Brien-Docker). In the mid-1960s, he moved to Germany and, in 1965, founded the folk-rock group City Preachers. From the mid-1970s, after City Preachers dissolved, he mainly worked as an arranger, among others for the music producer Rolf Zuckowski .
