Sometimes credited as John Keane. Keane is probably best well known at current for his work on the CBS show "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". He has also composed the theme for another CBS show "The Amazing Race". Another show he has composed music for includes "The Sentinel". He has also composed music for the shows "Martial Law" and "Diagnosis Murder". Alongside these he has also composed music for several made for TV movies. His solo works include Any Other World (1996) and Straight Away (1999). In his younger years he and his brother Tom played together in a group called simply "The Keane Brothers" that was a semi succesful pop duo during the 1970s who would later split in 1982 to continue further pursuing other musical careers.
