They formed at the beginnings of 1982. The original lineup consisted of Jordi (drums), Toni (guitar), Santi Rex (voice) and Arturo (keys). In 1985, Santi Rex leaves the group and later on, joins Niños del Brasil. Jesús López (guitar) and Víctor Gomollon (keys) join the band now. In 1988, Jesús López , Víctor Gomollon and Toni leave the group. The group abandons the guitars and goes to a more danceable area of music. They meet Flappi. In 1993, Jordi also leaves the project. Since their beginnings they have reinvented and transformed themselves via changes in their name (reducing it to JLF, to once again recover their original name) and musical orientation, without this meaning a loss of coherence of a band that always has moved around the innovation. With their first project, this band from Zaragoza released their first album titled Triskaideikadelika. The album and the live shows of that period reflected the group's curiosity for experimentation, in sound and in the visual aspect. Their newest album, Songs For The Frozen Latitudes has a bunch of influences: house, funk, soul, drum'n'bass, jazz, dub, pop, techno.
