Johann Michael Demmler (Born: 28 September 1748, Hiltenfingen, Germany Died: 6 May 1785) was a German composer and organist. Trained as a chorister at Augsburg Cathedral, he attended the Jesuit College of Sankt Salvador in 1769, becoming organist at the cathedral a year later. Although a close friend of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who recommended him for the position of organist in Salzburg in 1778, he chose to remain in Augsburg.
