Johann Daniel Mylius (c. 1583-1642) was a composer for the lute, and writer on alchemy. He was a chemistry pupil of Johann Hartmann (1568-1613). He is known for the collection Thesaurus gratiarum (1622) of pieces for the lute. In the same year was published his Philosophia Reformata. The Opus medico-chymicum, another alchemical work, was published in 1618. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
