Swedish singer/songwriter Johan Hedberg originally came to prominence as one half of the indie pop duo Suburban Kids with Biblical Names. He formed the band in 2003 with friend Peter Gunnarson and the two released a string of literate, melodic EPs and albums on Swedish twee pop label Labrador Records. While still with the band, Hedberg made his solo debut in 2007 with the 5-Spars EP. After Suburban Kids became less active around the turn of the decade, he began to focus more on his solo work and finally made his full-length debut with 2014's Paradiset.
