JOEY CURTIN Joey Curtin is a composer and keyboard artist who began her musical career in the San Francisco Bay area. Her piano and synthesizer creations are a fusion of jazz, new age, and celtic influences. Her performances include: The Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite The Olympic Village Inn at Squaw Valley The Ahwahnee Hotel, Yosemite National Park The Sheraton Palace, San Francisco Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco Sheraton Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Internationally, Joey has traveled to Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Indonesia, Ethiopia, the Philippines and Singapore to perform and speak. In Northern Ireland, her music has been part of Peace and Reconciliation meetings. Her CD River of Life is heard on new age radio stations all over the world. From 2003-2004 Joey was hired by the Methodist Hospital at the Texas Medical Center in Houston to give a four-hour performance every Saturday and Sunday. She played for patients, surgeons, staff, and visitors. Her music was described by many as "healing". Joey received awards from ASCAP for these performances. In 2005, Joey returned to Northern California where she wrote a curriculum for a kindergarten class that was based on brain stimulation through music, movement, and rhyme. During the next few years she started arranging and composing her CD project Soundtrack For America, which was released May 17, 2008. In 2011 Joey released her cover tunes album titled "Going To California." In 2017 Joey released her latest solo pia
