Since the age of 16 Joe Schaeffer, aka Nov Sanus, has been experimenting with synthesizers and making music. After a couple of trance releases under his Digital Space moniker, Joe began working on psychedelic trance and eventually evolved his sound into psychedelic downtempo and breaks. With tracks like the driving psybreaks masterpiece, Fire Dancer, and the Shpongle influenced, Forgotton Ages, Nov Sanus is quickly gaining notoriety among West coast audiences. The debut album under the Nov Sanus moniker, Waves of the Dreamworld, was released in October of 2009 and represents a solid foundation for future releases. Joe is currently in the studio working on new progressive trance tracks and experimenting with new sounds for upcoming Nov Sanus releases.
