Joe Phillips was born on April 18, 1995 in Port Chester, New York, and he currently lives in Pawling, New York. From a young age, he has been interested in music. He started playing the guitar seriously at the age of 11 and made his first album (How I Didn't Go On) at age 14. He has since created two more albums, Product of a Lost Soul, and Mindf*cks and Mincemeat. He has an acoustic sound heavily influenced by Alternative Rock, and in earlier albums, a huge vocal influence from Alice in Chains singer Layne Staley.
