Wildlife is one of free jazz bassist Joe Morris’s many projects. Beginning as a trio, it now includes Jim Hobbs (alto saxophone), Petr Cancura (tenor/alto saxophones), and Luther Gray (drums). “We use the idea of change as the primary device for the creation of sequence in performance,” comments Morris, “rather than relying on one piece.
