Self taught songwriter Joe Gray originating from [placestarted]Colombus, Ohio[/placestarted] started his musical journey when he was 14, soon after his grandmother intruduced him to country music, which would end up being his main focus, and the background music for his storytelling! Having lived in Texas, Florida and Nashville, he has adopted the life of a travelling musician, moving states as often as every three months, acquiring valuable life experience that is being distilled into his songs! As for his infuences, his favorite bands and musicians are turnpike troubadours, Koe Wetzel, Parker Mccolum, Tyler Childers, Rage against the Machine and Muddy Waters as well as the classic rock music his dad played to him while growing up in the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC and Black Sabbath.
