Joe Bethancourt is a folk artist who has played in the southwestern United States for well over 20 years. He is also known for his SCA songs, often written under the SCA name Ioseph of Locksley, and for the infamous Black Book of Locksley, an internet text file with lyrics to many of his SCA folk and filk songs. It includes such classics as Aten Man, Atenveldt Invasion, Ladies in the SCA, Acushla, and Serious Steel and its filk Serious Steal (which actually appeared on the same album Serious Steel, released with Leslie Fish).
