Job Roggeveen (born 1979, Geldrop, The Netherlands) is a Dutch animator, film maker and musician. He studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven in The Netherlands, graduating in 2003. In 2007 he co-founded animation studio called Job, Joris & Marieke, together with Joris Oprins and Marieke Blaauw. Job, Joris & Marieke produce music videos and short animated films. Their award-winning films include 'MUTE' (2013) and the Oscar-nominated 'A Single Life' (2014) and '(Otto)' (2015). Roggeveen is also an instrumentalist and a composer. He composes the soundtracks for all the films by Job, Joris & Marieke. In 2011 he started the music project, Happy Camper, which to date released two studio albums, an EP and a stand-alone single. In 2011 Happy Camper won a Dutch Edison Award. The original film scores for the MUTE, A Single Life and (Otto) films are also credited to Happy Camper. Roggeveen is also a member of the Rotterdam-based indie rock band, El Pino & the Volunteers. 2019 marked the start of Roggeveen's new musical career as a neo-classical pianist. He released a string of singles that fit into the 'peaceful piano' genre. A full-length album, Gliese, as well as more new singles, followed in 2020.
