Joakuim grew up in Marseille in the south of France being involved in the free party scene and soundsystem culture mainly focussing on Tekno. After moving to Mexico City some friends introduced him to drum and bass and he instantly fell in love. His first records were by the likes of Alix Perez, Zero T and alot of other influential ‘liquid’ producers and it wasn’t for long he started producing drum & bass himself. After being situated in London, studying sound engineering and music production for a few years he got tired of the rain and moved back to Marseille to set up his studio. Nowadayes he releases music on Alignment, Soul Deep, Ambra, Syndrome Recordings and of course Fokuz and Celsius Recordings.
