about

Jo has a lovely guitar named Janet, a laptop, her baby sister’s Little Tykes piano, weird rhythm instruments her mother bought largely to decorate the parlour, and a lifetime of listening to her dad’s music and singing murder ballads in the bath. She wishes she played cello, piano, theremin, saw, or something else with a cool name, or at least had become acquainted with a friendly string quartet, but is making do with what she’s got. She has an odd habit of re-interpreting traditional ballads as being about vampires. You can download Jo’s songs at http://community.livejournal.com/come_all_ye. She is hoping to earn a little money so she can run away to Boston and play music on the streets, not to mention have access to much nicer vintage clothing shops and bakeries and used book stores.
