Lane married Bev Butler' Lane, a vocalist and west coast native coming from a classical and choral music background, Bev had been performing on the live music circuit for fifteen years. Her latest project was being a founding member of The Erlton Street Soul Band of Calgary Alberta Canada, before she returned to the Vancouver area. Bev’s research into the problematic world of today has inspired their latest musical effort…Rings”. “Rings” is a self performed project for the team...(Jimmy wrote and performs all the music, with the exception of the keys on several tracks, played by Bev. Beverly researched, wrote and performs the vocals, with the exception of two tracks, sang by Jimmy ). It's indeed an effort to awaken the asleep and bring sight to the blindness of the world's social, political and economical undoing. Strong political messages mixed with heavy back beats, Jimmy's soulful/blues-rock guitar and bass work, makes for a strong mix of music. At the age of 45, Jimmy D.
