Jimmie Revard's band the Oklahoma Playboys shared many of the musicians with another great WS band the Tune wranglers though the two sounded very different from each other. Revard's band played jazzed up pop and blues songs while the Tune Wranglers had a little bit more of a hot cowboy sound.
