Sorry I can't help but, yes we need it this information! I discovered Jim Fisher in a track he recorded with the White Pointers on Tim Winton's Dirt Music, called 'Keep your lamp trimmed and burning'. I'm not an expert but I would call this genre 'Gospel Blues'. I was hoping to find more of his work on iTunes but all I found was one album called 'Jimmy Fisher and Contagious Praise' which is fairly mainstream full-on church music. Sure its gospel, but not at all blues or roots. I'm wondering if we can get Tim Winton to tell us more about 'Keep your lamp trimmed and burning' and how he got Jim Fisher and The White Pointers together to record that track?
