Estonian journalist Mart Juur about Jim Arrow & The Anachrones (September 1989): Their silent, but steady coming was really sympathetic. Their romantic, intellectually melancholic sound is a trip to the world! There´s not enough room for that in our country (note: Estonia was under Soviet rule at these times). Their melodic, simple and moderately technical guitar-rock might open the door to Europe... After "Steeltown Puppets" single they released a selftitled debut LP in 88´. Unfortunately Jim Arrow & The Anachrones disbanded at the beggining of the 90´. Some of their material was later released on an complication album called "Estonian Rock Anthology: Jim Arrow & The Anachrones" in 2007.
